Strength to overcome

Let me start off by saying, I am NOT a writer... don't get me wrong, I can fake my way through a paper and pull out an A, but when it comes to writing my feelings or pretty much anything else out I am completely lost.  So I don't know why exactly I am writing this right now, but I feel like someone out there needs to feel encouraged today.

We all have heartbreak, tragedies, chaos, and confusion in our lives at one point or another.  We all react in different ways, but a lot of times we find ourselves asking, "Why God?"  Asking God, "Why?" is NOT a sin.  It is something that we often need to do. God may show us why He has chosen to allow something to happen, or we may never know.  Either way, we all go through bad times when we feel absolutely alone and question everything.  When this happens, choosing to be a fighter and not give up  is what God wants us to do.  God is our ultimate healer, comforter, rock, deliverer, and lover.  He is constantly fighting for us and wants us to fight too. We need to stand up and fight back against all the negative in the world and the evil that is constantly trying to break us.  We have a choice on how we choose to handle each situation that comes our way...  I am a fighter and I'm GOD'S warrior, so when things come my way no matter how hard, I know that GOD will give me the strength I need to overcome it.  He is the ONLY way to find true joy, peace, and healing.  If you cry out to Him, he WILL hear you and help you overcome what you are going through and give you the strength to get through each day.  Over the past couple of days, I have stumbled across some of the most POWERFUL verses that have the ability to transform your life if you allow them.  They transformed mine and I hope that you will find them as encouraging as I do!

"There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out all fear.." - 1 John 4:18

• Rest in GOD'S perfect love!

"Trust in the Lord forever, for The Lord God is an everlasting rock." - Isaiah 26:4

• God is my rock and He gives me the strength I need to get through each day! 

"The righteous cry out, and The Lord hears, and delivers them out of their troubles.  The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart and saves those who are crushed in spirit."  

- Psalm 34:17

• God hears my cries, delivers me from my issues, is always by my side, and saves me when I'm down. 

"God can restore what is broken and change it into something amazing.  All you need is faith." 

 - Joel 2:25

• God is my ultimate healer! 

"From the ends of the earth I will cry to You. When my heart feels overwhelmed; lead me to the rock that is higher than I." - Psalm 61:2

• No matter what I'm going through, God is my ultimate rock!

"God is within her, she will not fail." - Psalm 46:5 

• God wants to help me succeed! 

I hope these Bible verses leave you feeling encouraged today! Write them down, memorize them, hang them up, and do whatever you need to remind yourself that God wants to give you strength and heal you... you just have to ask! :)
