Something Old, Something Borrowed, and Something New

Okay, so I'm definitely not wearing a white dress... But I'm loving this outfit I pulled together using my new black pants, borrowed shirt from my sister, and black flappy hat back from freshman year of college. I'm so ready for spring and to be able to wear bright colors, but these are all neutrals that I absolutely LOVE and can pair with just about anything. I always love going in my closet and taking something that's a little bit older and pairing it with something new!

Revelation 21:4 says, "Behold, I make all things new." God is making new things out of each and every one of us each and every moment of every day. Whether it's something old in our life, something borrowed, or something new, God wants to take whatever situation that we are going through in our life and turn it into something new and amazing. 

One of my favorite worship songs says, "You make beautiful things out of us. You make beautiful things out of dust. You are making me new." No matter what situation comes our way and whatever struggle or hardship we are going through, God is making us new and He is going to make beautiful things out of the dust.  I love this analogy because God has proven it to be true so many times in my life and in the lives of others.  It's amazing to see how God can turn around a bad situation and make new things from the dust.  So trust in Him and don't worry. God is making us new.
